His skills were legendary - painter, architect, engineer, mathematician and philosopher but he is perhaps best known for his paintings especially those of the Mona Lisa, The Last Supper and The Madonna (Virgin) of the Rocks. His inventions included machine guns, an armored tank, cluster bombs, a submarine, the first mechanical calculator and solar power!
